The Power of the Regroup & MiSpecPlays:RelaxedVibesI

Good Evening,

Today I am focusing on regrouping. The regroup is a time where I work on rearranging/ reorganizing different aspects of my daily life and future. When I think of regrouping; I think of making all of the chaos in life more controllable and bearable. So below I am going to give you some of my tips on this topic.

  1. Assess the stress. Let’s face it! Life is stressful. Whether it’s work, relationships, family, health, finances, or traffic; something is bound to cause you to go into survival mode or the opposite daily. Unfortunately for a lot of people, it is more than one stressor, or when one gets better another decides to ACT A FOOL. This has been an issue for me and many of my colleagues who are in that ” I graduated undergrad two years ago and I am lost “or ” I just got out of grad school, and umm they did not teach this in class and how will I ever pay off these loans. ” phase.  However, you are not a quitter so you keep it trucking. The key is to acknowledge those stressors, if not, they will start to consume you instead of you controlling them.
  2. What will make this transition/journey/season better? Now initially you are probably thinking, umm “more money, a better job, an actual career with good benefits, a man/woman, or fewer family issues.” However, let’s be frank. Honey, that is not going to happen no time soon, so what are you going to do to accept the season you are in now. Everything happens for a reason, and honestly, if you were supposed to be in that season, you would be. So obviously there is something to learn from all of this. However, unfortunately, the season usually sucks so much that you cannot focus on what is being taught. So my challenge to you is to find a new hobby, find a new way to manage it all or take a vacation. Reflect on what is going around you consistently so you do not miss those valuable lessons or that valuable time where you can become a better you. This is when we go to the next step, my favorite.
  3. Make a plan. It sounds so simple but it is usually a hassle. If you want time for yourself, you need to plan time for yourself. They say if you don’t have a plan then you plan to fail. If you want to have a spa day because you know you need some relaxation, then your next goal should be to pick a day, the activities, and the cost. If you plan ahead, you can jump so many hurdles, by having a backup plan and saving up for any financial things needed. I believe it also important to plan some daily me time, devotional time, and some time for life-building. Life-building time for me includes researching things I am interested in, reading an interesting book, or planning the next to-do list for goal achievements. So turn on the RelaxedVibesI playlist (at bottom or sidebar) and click the picture below to check out a FREE PDF that will help guide you.
  4.  Put it in Action. What’s the point of making a plan, if you are not going to act on it? Just writing it down or thinking it through is not going to make it occur in reality. So choose a task or two to work on each day, and mark it off as completed. The feeling of completing a task makes me feel amazing. It reassures me that I can make it through this thing called life. Before you know it, you will be completely regrouped and on the path to success.
